Blessing and Loving Initiatives through Servicing and Support (BLISS), a co-curriculum service learning project jointly organized by The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Shantou University (STU), held between May to July 2009. By endeavoring the philosophy of service learning, BLISS aims to provide participants with exceptional learning opportunities through servicing those in poverty and disability. Through the experiential learning activities we promoted the establishment of values in personal, social, and global level; and ultimately as a way to enhance personal growth.

By showing their commitment, effort, love, care and support through the heart-to-heart interaction with the needy populations, participants enhanced their knowledge in human service and insights about meanings of life. In this program, the members of team share the adventure and making of BLISS 2009, to pass on the vision of service-learning and BLISS among fellow HKU students.
